It’s no secret that sometimes it’s just too expensive to eat out. We crave a burger or something sweet, but then we remember the cost doesn’t fit into our weekly budget.
Fortunately, many restaurants these days have joined the movement of creating a rewards programs for their customers. Most restaurants have an app where you can earn points every time you purchase food or a drink whether that be online or in store. Those points can then be redeemed for free food or drinks after a certain amount of points have been racked up. On the flip side, however, some restaurants even reward you for just signing up for their rewards program or joining their newsletter! It’s their way of attaining new customers and saying thank you to their loyal customer’s.
I have put together a list of 12 restaurants that you can immediately receive free food or drinks from!

Baskin Robbins– Receive 1 Free scoop of ice cream when you download their app and create an account! Once you sign up, you will receive the coupon in the app under the “Deals” tab. Pull the coupon up in your app and use it at the counter.
California Pizza Kitchen– Receive 1 free small plate when you join their CPK Rewards. Download their app and show your waiter/waitress the coupon before you order.
Del Taco– Receive 2 Free grilled chicken tacos just for joining their Raving Fan Club. Once you join, download their app and sign in. You will receive the coupons in the app under the “Offers” tab. Order the two grilled chicken tacos and then scan the coupon at the cash register.
Dunkin Donuts– Receive 1 free drink when you download their app and sign up for a DDPerks account! Once you sign up, you will receive the coupon in the app under the “See All Offers” tab. Pull the coupon up in your app and scan the barcode at the cash register.
IHOP– 1 Free full stack of pancakes when you join MyHop. Once you sign up you will get an email with a coupon. Make sure to print the coupon out and bring it with you when you go in. Give the coupon to your waiter/ waitress and they will take it from there!
Jimmy Johns- 1 Free 8” sub when you join rewards.
Moes Southwest Grill– Receive 1 Free cup of queso when you sign up for Moe’s Rewards. Once you sign up, you will receive an email with the coupon attached. Let the Moe’s employee know, so that they can scan your reward at the cash register when you pay.
Panera Bread– Receive 1 Free pastry of your choice when you join MyPanera. Once you sign up, download their app and make sure that your phone number is on your profile. You will get the reward in the app. When you go in to one of their locations mention that you have the free pastry reward and they will ask for your phone number.
Sbarro– Receive 1 Free XL NY slice just for joining The Slice Society. You will receive the coupon in an email. The only catch is that you have to use the coupon within 24 hours after signing up.
Steak N’ Shake– Receive 1 Free double steakburger and fries with any purchase when you join their eClub! Once you sign up, you will receive an email with the coupon inside. Bring the email in and use it at the cash register when you are paying. (PRO TIP: Order a soda and your meal will be free!)
Which Wich– Recieve 1 Free regular drink when you join their Vibe Club Rewards program. Download their app, log in and the coupon will be under the “Rewards” tab. You can use it instantly at the cash register.
Zoes Kitchen– Earn 50 points when you create a ZK Rewards account. You can redeem those points immediately for either 1 free side, soup or a regular drink of your choice. All three are only 30 points each, so you will have 20 points still remaining on your account. Download their app and use the points at the cash register.
Zaxby’s– Receive 1 Free sandwich meal when you join their Zax Club. Once you sign up they will send you a postcard coupon in the mail. Keep in mind that it could take a month before you receive the postcard coupon.
